May be related to having to click into the node area on Pane 1 to get the focus there.
In any case, if you click in the open space at the bottom of Pane 1, Pane 2 jumps up. I didn’t count how many nodes, but it’s at least a page worth.

Good catch. I think it’s actually the right-most pane that jumps up (2 out of 2, or 3 out of 3, etc). It’s been happening to me but I didn’t really pay attention to why the right pane was getting so mis-focused.
