Dynamic Board View: Only display as board when zoomed to node

I find myself wanting to use Boards, but not as they’re implemented because I don’t want to see the board view in the middle of a bullet list.

Maybe this is a long shot, but what if you added a toggle in Settings > Features so that users could choose whether to see the board view in the middle of a bullet list? Something like “Dynamic Board View: Only show board view when zoomed in to the level of the board. Board contents show as bulleted list when displayed as subitem of another list.”

You might just have to get used to collapsing the parent bullet of the board when viewing that bullet amongst a list. Maybe you add a colourful tag as a note to the bullet (#BOARD) so that you can identify that this collapsed bullet is board.

I actually really like this idea, I don’t really like seeing the board in my lists either
