Hy,
I have an idea.
When a date is placed on a dot with one click on the date you can changed the date as it is today. By double click on the date you automatically jump into the date dot. This would be very great features.
Cheers

Ctrl+Left Click on a WF date will open a pane for nodes with that date. Is that close to what you want?
Strange by me it is not working on a date added from the calendar.
On a backlink your tipp works and thank’s I learned something new.
Not sure what this means?

Your tip works for green but not for red.
Red !! = date
Green = hyperlink to date dot
For me both are the date dot at the end
Click on green = Jump into dot date
Double click on red = jump into dot date = My Idea to improve.
To summarize my understanding of the feature request – it is that double-clicking on a WF date would open that date’s calendar node in the same pane. (Are WF dates defined if user doesn’t have calendar enabled?)
@calsi 's suggestion opens a search for that date, but I experience 3 problems with that:
(a) currently there’s a pane bug so it opens the search in pane 1 instead of the current pane,
(b) the search starts with whatever node is in pane 1 which is not necessarily the calendar. And even if it opened, as desired, in the current pane, it also would not necessarily be the calendar.
(c) even if (a) and (b) are remedied, there can be multiple nodes containing that date, but IIUC, @dsutterpro 's goal is to go directly to that date.
To be clear, best I know Ctrl+Click only works on WF dates. @jodmarch is correct, the results appear in pane 1. The results though are for a search at the Home context. So all nodes in the outline with the WF date will be the search results. Did not realize that the OP was discussing calendar dates…
Interesting. For me the search context is whatever is already in panel 1 - it just inserts that date into panel 1’s (Escape) search box.
I think that’s what he means by “the date dot” ? (I.e. that date’s calendar node.) The phrase is not clear.
@jodmarch Further research - the reason is that I typically have pane 1 in Home, So I have accidentally precluded myself from a “problem”. How prescient. ![]()
The reason pane 1 is typically in Home is that after I do whatever I have my default two pane view that I go back to via bookmark. And that is where typically jump to reminders or WF date searches in pane 2. Lucky, I suppose.,
