Alt+clicking the item in the sidebar should open the new pane right next to the focused pane rather than in the rightmost new pane.

@tschenyinkoh “opening the new pane right next to the focused pane” seems to working properly for me in 4.3.2609101426 beta as you suggested

Alt/cmd+clicking the item in the sidebar still opens in the new rightmost pane, tested in 4.3.2609101641 [beta, chrome-152, mac].

As you have 8 panes and focus on the pane 1, Alt+clicking the item in the sidebar will open in the pane 9.

@tschenyinkoh my bad, I was testing clicking on a link, not in the sidebar, but on a node in the pane on the left hand side, so this is still an issue
