It seems that when searching in pane 1, once the search results appear, the nodes in all other panes collapse. It is super inconvenient and upsetting.
(It should search for any word within any node in pane 1, but not starting from the home of pane 1.)

It also does this if you use a link to go to a SEARCH. Once the search opens, the items in the other pane collapse.
I can confirm that this issue is reproducable and still exists as of 9/29/26 with the newly downloaded 4.3.2609291146 (4.3.2609291146) on MacOS Workflowy Native.

Thanks. However, I’ve noticed that if you don’t type quickly enough (say, pausing in the middle of typing for 1 second) that the search box loses focus and the search results populate. While the dynamic results are nice, shouldn’t the search box maintain focus until the user hits or clicks somewhere else? I’m not certain if it was like this before the fix.

@Phil Yet another (and I’ve lost count) instance of the extraordinary downsides of maintaining separate code bases for single pane and multi-pane WF instances. Once again, I truly hope that this is because you are building a new robust codebase for multi-panes, so that you will soon be able to retire the old single-pane codebase. Anything else would be asking for perpetual multi-pain (pun intended).
