The current Workflowy MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration only exposes each node’s main text (name). It does not expose the node’s note field at all — neither for reading nor writing.
This means an AI assistant (or any other MCP client) connected to Workflowy cannot see any content a user has stored in a bullet’s note, and cannot write content into the note field either — attempts to set a note are silently ignored with no error.
Request: Please extend the MCP tool schema/API so that:
- Reading a node also returns its note content (not just the name).
- Writing/creating a node supports setting the note field directly (e.g. a note parameter on create/update operations).
This would make Workflowy’s MCP support much more useful for daily-log/check-in style workflows where the note field is used to record actual values under labeled bullets.
