Just confirming for everyone that this isn’t true. I’m the founder of Workflowy.
Glad this is not true, just committed to do & track everything in Workflowy. That would have been truly disappointing news for sure.
If workflowy ever gets sold, I would probably go back to pen and paper, or bow and arrow, not sure yet…
Jesse, I can’t tell you how relieved I am that WorkFlowy hasn’t been sold! After what happened to Evernote when it changed hands, I still have a bit of PTSD around these things.
WorkFlowy has become an essential part of my life over the last 10+ years, and I rely on it every single day. I genuinely can’t imagine my life without it.
…clay tablets, cave paintings, chisel & stone…
Big sigh of relief. I kept going back and forth between Notion and Workflowy. I had just decided to take Notion off my phone once and for all. One of the things I love about Workflowy (apart from the fact that I’m an outliner-hound from back in the days of ThinkTank on an Apple II) is the ability to switch my project tracking back and forth from bullet view to board view with a click.
Clickbait.
Thanks for the clarification Jesse.
Of the (literally) hundreds of apps on my phone, this is the ONE app I would be most devastated to see sold.
Thanks SO much for quashing that nasty rumour, Jesse.
