Team administrators can now switch their Team subscription from monthly to yearly billing.
App Store Pro subscriptions are now clearly labeled as managed by Apple in Membership settings, with their billing frequency and renewal or end date shown. The MCP help page now explains how to connect AI tools to Workflowy’s built-in Local MCP server through the desktop beta, with step-by-step setup and security guidance.
Side panes now have clearer terminology, correct Home rendering, compact search, and pane-local navigation shortcuts for zooming, moving through history and items, opening Home or Today, and focusing search.
Page and pane headers are now consistent: Share, Star, Show or hide completed, Change layout, and pane options live in the same header area and move into the overflow menu when space is tight. Header action buttons are larger, and the main page header remains visible while scrolling.
The “Get the Apps” menu option no longer appears in the Windows desktop app; it remains available on the web and in the macOS app.
The menu opened from the Workflowy logo in the left sidebar is now easier to scan, with downloads and integrations near Settings, clearer icons, and related items grouped together.
The Workflowy logo in the left sidebar now displays correctly in the desktop and mobile apps.
The selection menu now appears beside selected items instead of covering cards in boards, leaving their bullets accessible so you can drag multiple selected cards together.
On mobile, the Add from Template picker now closes when you press Back, tap outside it, navigate away, or choose a template. While it is open, the page behind it stays in place instead of scrolling.
On desktop, the Add from Template picker now stays anchored while you search and shows its full empty-state message when no templates match.
On mobile, date words such as “today” and “tomorrow” are now recognized more reliably after extensive cursor dragging.
When the keyboard opens on Android, Workflowy now scrolls the page less, so the typing cursor remains below the search box instead of being covered by it.
On macOS, using the arrow keys or Enter in the emoji picker no longer also moves the cursor or creates unwanted bullets in Workflowy.
Exports of mirrored items now include all nested descendants, even when those levels have not previously been expanded.
When completed items are hidden, completing several items in succession now keeps the cursor on a visible item instead of moving it to another completed item that is disappearing.
Switching a table back to bullets now immediately shows the children of expanded rows instead of visually hiding them.
Workflowy now shows a yellow warning banner when a firewall or network filter blocks sync responses, making it clear why changes are not syncing.
File previews now wait for uploads to finish before loading. PDF preview failures stay confined to the preview, and PDFs can still be previewed when browser storage is unavailable.
The Hotkeys menu on macOS now shows the Zoom in and Zoom out shortcuts that work in Safari and other browsers.
After a personal Pro membership ends, Settings now shows progress toward the free plan’s item and file-storage limits alongside the membership end date and renewal option.
