When I type: — a separator is created with cursor in the middle, so I can add a title to it. I like this kind of “separator with title” a lot. Now I start typing the title and make a typo. I press backspace and BOOM separator is gone. I want the separator to be kept in place. I expect backspace to remove the separator (turn it into regular bullet) only when pressed at the beginning of the title text.

Second, I cannot reproduce this on 4.3.2608171225-beta [desktop, linx].
- Created a separator using the
---+spaceMarkdown shortcut. - Started typing a title.
- Backspaced to correct: I was able to backspace to the start of the title text without the separator reverting to a bullet-type node.
- One more backspace did cause the node to revert to bullet-type.
Perhaps fixed?

Two more informations:
- This happens to me anywhere. It had happened to me that it worked as expected, but it is very rare. It happens both in web and in desktop app on Mac.
- On iPhone app the “—” + space does not create the separator at all but it translates the thing into long dash + short dash. I would very welcome this to create separator as well.
It’s fixed in beta apps.
