BUG: When I perform a search in a pane, pressing the ESC key does not clear the search query

In the main panel, pressing the ESC key clears the search and displays all results. However, when performing the same action within a side pane, it does not work; the search query remains unchanged.

Bugs: Focus Search Bugs Because of Pane-1-Only

If you are typing on pane 2, while your pane 1 is already in search, you click “Escape” and expect to search in pane 2. But it just influences pane 1, ending up unfocusing the pane 1 search. Second, if you are in pane 2, you use the shortcut for “focus search.” It just goes directly into the search in pane 1.
