Desktop app spellcheck suggestions disappear

This has been to me for a few years now on multiple computers whenever using the desktop version, on both Windows and Mac, so I am surprised to see no reports of this

Please provide as much information as possible so we can pinpoint what the issue is.

  • Description of what you’re trying to do - When ever typing and trying to fix spelling errors the internal spellcheck is flagging, the red lines and errors often disappear and I have to wait for them to come back. THis is very annoying as it can take minutes to clear the mistakes as I have to do it one by one and wait a minute or so in between each one I correct.

  • Operating system - this happens on both Windows and Mac when using the desktop apps

  • Browser version (if using the web app) - does not happen on the browser as I suppose the browser’s spellcheck kicks in.

Confirming: I see this behavior in the Linux desktop (4.3.2605251436-beta [desktop, linx]) but not the browser (4.3.2605251452 [beta, ff, linx]).

However, on the desktop, I wait perhaps a second or two before the spellcheck re-underlines a misspelled word.
