Dear WorkFlowy Team, I’d like to suggest adding an optional multi-cursor (simultaneous editing) feature that allows users to edit text across multiple selected nodes at once. While WorkFlowy already supports multi-selection for structural actions, text edits still require changing each bullet individually, which slows workflows involving repetitive updates such as adding prefixes, tags, or standardized naming patterns. An opt-in edit mode that creates one cursor per selected node—similar to multi-cursor editing in tools like VS Code or Notepad++ (alt + left click + drag down) would greatly improve efficiency without changing WorkFlowy’s core outlining philosophy, reduce the need to switch to external editors for bulk edits, and make WorkFlowy even more powerful for technical, research, and structured content workflows.

Yes, this would be very useful to assign tags to multiple bullets at once ![]()
