FIXED! - Bugs: in the multi-pane mode, the beta has too many bugs

the cursor bug in beta

In the multi-pane mode of beta, pressing Enter creates a new node, but ## the cursor still stays in the last node/line.

4.3.2610011554 [beta, chrome-154, mac]

the new node is created but not rendered (displayed) until about 15 seconds have passed; after pressing Backspace from the new node, it takes a second or two for the new node to disappear.

Likewise, after pressing Backspace from the new node, it takes a second or two for the new node to disappear.

All confirmed.

confirmed 4.3.2610021231 [beta, chrome-154, win] but only when side panes are open

Actually even worse in 4.3.2610021231 [beta, edge, win] – the new node is created but not rendered (displayed) until about 15 seconds have passed.

Likewise, after pressing Backspace from the new node, it takes a second or two for the new node to disappear.

Or, alternatively, after pressing Delete from the end of the original node after the new one is rendered, it displays 2 copies of the original node.

I don’t understand how you guys use this thing right now… without CMD+SHIFT 0/9 (back/forward) navigation shortcuts… that bug has been reported 50+ days ago and still not fixed… among a couple more !

BUG FREE EASY FIX

@bxc I’m not sure which bug(s) you are referring to?

The very severe “Press Enter to create new node” bug in 4.3.2610021231 [beta, edge, win] (just before the weekend, alas) has apparently been fixed in 4.3.2610071644 [beta, edge, win]. But this was perhaps released after your post?

Alt+left and Alt+Right (navigate_backward / forward) work for me for moving back and forth in pane history.

macos 15.xx , chrome 155, app latest…

It is generally helpful to have one bug per forum thread, and one bug per bug report. Otherwise the “fixed” state of the thread / report is not clear and is easily muddled.

That said, from where did you get that bug tracker screen shot???
