FIXED: When pane is out of sight, Alt+[pane number] does not scroll it into sight

Very nice that we can now have multiple panes scrolled out of sight. But for full usability, we should be able to use the Alt+[pane number] keystrokes to switch quickly between them, and, of course, see the pane that we have switched to.

Exactly.

A workaround: use the Alt+[pane number] keystrokes, then click left or right arrow key. It makes it into sight.

It seems that this has been implemented in 4.3.2610141451 [beta, chrome-152, mac].
