IMO it would be useful for the jump menu (Ctrl+K, Ctrl+semicolon) by default to open its target in the pane from which it is invoked.
For many of us, work flows from left to right, so to be in pane 3, do a jump, and have it affect pane 1 is quite counter-intuitive.
Other thoughts about this?
