Is there any point in having this forum?

Just an observation, but I’m struggling to understand why Workflowy staff ever bothered setting up this Discourse forum. There’s plenty of bugs being reported and feature requests, but rarely any acknowledgement/input from Workflowy staff.

So anyone from Workflowy care to share what their expectations were with this venture?

Hey @TDK_SA90. The team usually doesn’t respond directly to bug or feature requests unless we need more information to either fix the issue or understand the feature request.

However, we are constantly checking the new posts and adding those issues and requests to our internal notes. That’s to say, we read everything that comes in. If we haven’t addressed something, it’s usually because the team is - already working on it, hasn’t gotten to it yet but it’s on the list, or has decided not to do the thing for some reason.

So the forum serves as a centralized public inbox where anyone can drop issues, requests, ideas, comments - and other folks can see and add to it.

Thanks for the info. I suppose I’m just more used to developer-initiated forums having more of a back and fore between the company reps and its forum’s members. This does indeed just feel more like an informal/public ticket system, dressed up as a forum, that’s all.
