Note Indicator/visibility change

I may be in the minority but I find that the presence of the note preview underneath a node to be visually disruptive in quite a few contexts.

I know we can put an extra line at the top of the notes to get the “…” underneath instead of text. But it still messes with spacing which is annoying.

Can we get an option similar to many other apps where the presence of a note is indicated by a note icon out to the right-hand side of the node…rather than underneath? Then we can just toggle to note visibility just by clicking on the icon. This could also be combined with an system option to make all notes visible or invisible page-wide or even system-wide.

If you are using WFx there is a function to toggle notes visible and not.

Does it completely eliminate the text preview of the first line of the note?

When toggled to hide notes it is like the note does not exist.
