When I create a to-do item, I tag it with a date, which is the due date so that it shows up in the Today view. I would love a feature that shows all to-do items with a date that is less than or equal to today on the Today view. This allows for tracking overdue or overlooked to-do items that have a data tag. This use case comes into play when I’m in a meeting and taking notes, for example. I record action items for that meeting and associate dates with them. Right now I manage this by mirroring everything to a list of To-Do items to be sure I never miss anything.

Love this idea. I currently have the habit of looking back at prior days or setting a date range on the item. It would be super if the “Found Dates” section could optionally show past-due, incomplete tasks. I say “optional” because I anticipate this might break others’ workflows.
