I’ve tried searching for this but probably missed something obvious. Are my bullets visible to you guys on the backend?

Or is there some sort of privacy encription?

Just to be clear, I’m fine with it.
Just need to know for sure in case of sensitive projects, etc.
Can’t risk any exposure there, so, I’m assuming it is not encrypted.
Will suffer lesser tools for that :slight_smile:

Hi guys,

I came across this Chrome extension:

However, among other things, it does not yet encrypt files.

Edit: I would like to point out that this extension is, as of today, not widely used and has therefore probably not been subject to much code review. Since I myself do not know anything about programming, I would like to invite and thank in advance any developers in the community who may be able to take a look at this.

I assume that the topic starter means specifically end-to-end encryption. Workflowy doesn’t have end-to-end encryption.

To avoid potential confusion for future readers that aren’t familiar with the term, please note that “end-to-end encryption” doesn’t mean “very well encrypted”, it (put in simple words) means “the company itself can’t decrypt your data”. Do I trust Workflowy [or other company’s] security practices with protecting the confidentiality of my data (including third-party threats and legal scrutiny) and not accessing it internally without my consent? If the answer is no, you might need an app that supports end-to-end encryption.

Regarding the extension referenced in a comment above, please be aware that we have no way to help you recover your data in case something goes wrong.
