Sharing and mirrors

I’m trying to figure out whether I can use workflowy to build an effective workflow and the one I’m currently thinking is:

  1. Write sub-bullets in the daily bullet
  2. Later, mirror the important ones under specific “scope”-bullets somewhere else, so that they won’t get lost forever in the calendar

This way I can just type things out without deciding where to put them first, and also have an outline of everything without managing it too much (like a TOC or something).

      • Buy milk

  • Topics
    • House
    • Work
    • Hobby
      • Watching building constructions
      • Installing bird feeders

Now if I wanted to share the hobbies only, I would share the “Hobby” bullet.

There are two major issues that make this simple approach hard to implement:

First, mirroring a bullet to elsewhere is cumbersome, I’ve made a post about this: https://community.workflowy.com/t/the-mirror-to-workflow-bad

Second, the way sharing works with mirrors right now, if I organize my notes like this, I will never be able to share them, unless I put the “Topics” bullet under “Calendar” and share everything I have, which is not something I would want to do.

Is there a chance sharing will be fixed, making it possible to create a selection of bullets using mirrors and only share that selection?
