Show search bar contents in all panes

Currently if an open pane is a search the search bar only displays if the pane is in focus. You can hover over the search bar area and see the search.

Any chance of always showing the contents of the search bar in each pane no matter the focus?

Looks like the motivation is to help emphasize which pane has focus, so the close X and 3-dot menu and “today” icon are also not shown. While those don’t matter AFAICT, the search box does, because it explains how that pane is defined.

Something else. The add a pane icon seems to only exist in the rightmost pane. Am I misremembering or did it exist in all panes before?

If I am remembering right not sure I care for this change. How does one now add a pane in the middle?

When either Ctrl+K (Ctrl+semicolon) jump, or the “open in pane” command are executed, they will open a new pane immediately to the right of the current pane.

That said, your point is well taken, especially for mouse-oriented users.

@Phil Just noticed search boxes are all visible with their respective searches in Panes. SWEET! Thanks.
