It would extremely useful to implement node properties. The best and less invasive way could be with a frontmatter YAML in the note of the node as done in the document of Obsidian.md or SilverBullet.md!
It would give the possibility to someone to add some more critical info and data to the nodes, without being intrusive for others that won’t need it!
I’d love to see support for YAML frontmatter. My suggestion is to build on the existing Hotkeys sidebar by adding a Properties tab for viewing and editing frontmatter, plus a Menu tab for quick access to node actions. Here’s a mockup showing how the three tabs could look together.
