In other programs the user can easily turn words and phrases into (new or existing) links by dragging the cursor over them and typing “[[”. The closing “]]” is automatically added at the end of the word or phrase, and it becomes a linked item – linked to an existing linked item if one already exists, otherwise it becomes a new linked item. This is a very helpful feature, especially when the user is adding information from elsewhere.
Trying that in Workflowy merely erases the word or phrase; items can be linked only by typing them from scratch after the opening [[. It would be great to more easily link existing words or phrases via the method described above. Thanks!
