About search nodes, you could use a “#wip” (work in progress) tag in your current projects and use my tip on Feature Request : Live Nodes (Dynamic Query Bullets & Flat Search) - #13 by flaviosuarez2006 .
If you already use dates, you can even use a query search like #wip AND this week
Once you’re done with a project, just ALT + left click on the #wip project’s tag to kill it.
