10! I’ve wished for something like this for years, because I often need to reference something in one part of the outliner while working in an entirely different part. I used to do something like open the reference section on a tablet while working in a different section on the laptop, but now there’s no need for it, the panes are perfect!

How many panes do you usually have open, and what do you keep in them? Which panes need to stay visible together? 2. When you open another pane, what do you expect to happen? Imagine you have three panes arranged as you like and open a fourth. Would you expect: Existing panes to keep their widths, with horizontal scrolling to reach panes beyond the win…

• horizontal split, not just vertical, similar to Edge split screen.

To be explicit, my main use case for this is when tiling WF with other apps, so I don’t have room on the screen for several side-by-side WF nodes to reference simultaneously.

Panes have been so great! I LOVE IT. now I don’t need to use multiple tabs in chrome to work with Workflowy. And I can drag ideas around confidently. Makes organizing my work and ideas so easy. Thank you. This was such a GREAT feature - one of the best features rolled out by workflowy.

I’ve been using workflowy for over 10 years, and this is definitely one of my most favorite features.
